Creating Time Varying Data

A Time Varying Data item contains time series data of monitored parameters in the network. Each Time Varying Data contains the data for one type of observed event, e.g. flow, depth, velocity etc.

Creating a Time Varying Data

To create a Time Varying Data

1. If necessary, create a Asset Group in the database tree.
2. In the Explorer Window, right-click on the Asset Group and select New | Time varying data from the popup menu.
3. Enter a name for the new Time Varying Data and click on OK. A new Time Varying Data object will be created in the database tree.
4. Open the Time Varying Data by dragging the item onto the background of the InfoAsset Manager Main Window or by using right-click on the item and selecting Open from the popup menu. The Set new unit description dialog will be displayed.
5. On the Set new unit description dialog, select a unit description from the dropdown list and click OK.

The Event Editor will be displayed.
