Quick access toolbar
The quick access toolbar is a small, customizable toolbar that displays frequently used commands.
Default content and position
By default, the quick access toolbar:
- has icons for synchronizing reports and publishing applications
- is located in the titlebar.
Adding and removing commands
You can add any command in the ribbon to the quick access toolbar by right-clicking the command's icon and selecting Add to quick access toolbar.
You can remove the icon by right-clicking it and selecting Remove from quick access toolbar.
Hiding commands
You can hide a command in the quick access toolbar by clicking the (Customize quick access toolbar) button and selecting the command name from the list. This does not remove the command permanently. You can reinstate the command by repeating the procedure.
Changing the toolbar position
You can move the quick access toolbar to below the ribbon by clicking the (Customize quick access toolbar) button and selecting Show quick access toolbar below the ribbon. This option is also available by right-clicking anywhere in the ribbon.
You can reinstate the toolbar to its original position in the same ways, except that the option is Show quick access toolbar above the ribbon.
