Status bar

A status bar below the InfoAsset Mobile main window provides additional information such as:

• the server the user is currently connected to
• information about the state of the server (only if there are any issues).

If there is an issue with the server, a warning or an error message is displayed to the right of the server name (see screenshot above). These error messages can be removed from the status bar if they are acknowledged.  Error acknowledgement takes place in the Server Management dialog.

Users can use the down arrow to:

• Refresh the server status (Refresh status option).

  Selecting this option checks the server status again and updates/hides the bar as required.

• Access the Server Management dialog (Manage server...option).

  This dialog can be used to diagnose the server issue further as it provides the user with useful reporting and diagnostics tools.

Administrators and System Administrators can set up server health checks to be performed automatically and at regular intervals. This is achieved by using the Server health check option in the Communications page of the Options dialog, and setting the recurrence pattern there.
