Import baseline from InfoWater

Enables the import of a baseline from InfoWater (.xinp file). Selecting this option displays the Import Baseline From InfoWater dialog, where import settings can be made. More

Edit baseline

Enables edits to be made to a baseline.

If a baseline is selected before this menu option is chosen, the baseline property sheet will be displayed, ready to be amended.

If no baseline is selected before this option is selected, a selection dialog will be displayed first, so that a baseline can be selected. More

Validate baseline

Enables baseline validation.

If a baseline is selected before this menu option is chosen, the validation is performed on that baseline, and its property sheet will be displayed at the end of the validation process. Validation errors and warnings are shown in the Output window.

If no baseline is selected before this option is selected, a selection dialog will be displayed first, so that a baseline can be selected. More

Tip

It is also possible to validate a baseline by opening it in the main window and clicking the Validate (Validate) button of the Operations toolbar.

Check in baseline

Enables a baseline to be checked in.

If a checked out baseline that has already been validated is selected before this menu option is chosen, the Check In Comment dialog is displayed. Enter appropriate check-in comments and check in the baseline.

If a checked out baseline that has not been validated yet is selected before to this menu option is chosen, a warning message is displayed informing the user that it has not been validated. Click Yes to validate.

Note

The baseline cannot be enabled if it has not been validated.

If no baseline is selected before this option is selected, a selection dialog will be displayed first so that a baseline can be selected. More

Enable baseline

With this option, it is possible to enable/disable a baseline.

This option is a togle. A tick surrounded by a blue colour to the left of it indicates that the selected baseline is enabled. No tick and no blue colour to the left

of the menu item denote a disabled baseline.

Tip

This menu item is a toggle. It has a tick in front of it when the selected baseline is enabled.

This option makes a baseline enabled for runs in InfoWorks WS Pro.

If a suitable baseline is selected before this menu option is chosen, a message is displayed, asking for confirmation and informing the user that the baseline is going to appear in the InfoWorks WS Pro program and that projection runs will start as per the run schedule settings entered on the Default Model page of the baseline property sheet. Click Yes on the message.

If no baseline is selected before this option is selected, a selection dialog will be displayed first so that a baseline can be selected.

Warning messages will be displayed to the user if an unsuitable baseline (for example, a checked out baseline or a baseline that has not been validated) is selected.

Selecting this menu option automatically ticks the Enable this baseline for use in projection runs check box that can be found on the Default Model page of the baseline property sheet. More

Model enhancement

This menu item contains all the tasks that can be carried out when enhancing your base model in preparation for use in InfoWorks WS Pro. The options are not available if there is no base model.

Add scenario from InfoWater

Enables the addition of scenarios to be imported from InfoWater into an existing baseline in InfoWorks WS Pro. Selecting this option displays the Add Scenario From InfoWater dialog where import settings can be specified. More

Update base model from InfoWater

Allows base model updates in InfoWorks WS Pro. This option is to be used whenever an edited network (for example, new pump, new housing estate) needs importing from InfoWater.

If a baseline is selected before this menu option is chosen, the Update base model from InfoWater dialog is displayed, where update settings can be specified.

If no baseline is selected before this option is selected, a selection dialog will be displayed first so that a baseline can be selected. More

Copy and edit baseline

Allows creation of a new baseline by copying a selected baseline. The new baseline will have all the properties of the baseline it is derived from.

If a baseline is selected before this menu option is chosen, the New Name - Baseline dialog is displayed so that a new name can be entered for it. The new baseline appears as a child of the baseline it has being copied from.

If no baseline is selected before this option is selected, a selection dialog will be displayed first so that a baseline can be selected. More

Export baseline to InfoWater

Allows export of the current baseline into an xinp InfoWater format.

If a baseline is selected before this menu option is chosen, the Export To InfoWater dialog, where the path and filename can be specified, is displayed.

If no baseline is selected before this option is selected, a selection dialog will be displayed first so that a baseline can be selected. More

Only baselines that have at least an associated run can be exported.

Show baseline audit information

Displays the Baseline Audit grid containing audit information for the selected baseline.

If no baseline is selected before this option is selected, a selection dialog will be displayed first so that a baseline can be selected. More

Model cleanup

This menu item brings together clean up tasks. The options are not available if there is no baseline.

Unlock baseline

Unlocks the selected baseline. More

Availability: When a locked baseline is currently selected.

Delete baseline runs

Enables deletion of the IWLive Pro runs (projection, incident, response runs) as well as the associated run info groups for the selected baseline.

Tip

The base run that has been generated when the baseline was first imported from InfoWater does not get deleted, nor do the associated network and scenario(s).

If a suitable baseline is selected before this menu option is chosen, the user will be asked for confirmation.

If no baseline is selected before this option is selected, a selection dialog will be displayed first so that a baseline can be selected. More

Delete baseline

Enables deletion of the selected baseline and of its associated IWLive Pro runs (NOT the base run).

If a baseline is selected before this menu option is chosen, the user will be asked for confirmation before deletion.

Maintenance in IWLive Pro

This menu item encompasses tasks related to model maintenance in IWLive Pro and exporting runs to InfoWater. The options are not available if there is no baseline schedule or run.

Edit schedule

Allows the baseline schedule to be edited. This is equivalent to opening the baseline object and editing the run schedule on the Default Model page.

If a baseline is selected before this menu option is chosen, the Run Schedule dialog is displayed. If not, a selection dialog will be displayed first so that a baseline can be selected. More

Export run to InfoWater for diagnosis

Allows export of the current run into an xinp InfoWater format.
