Working with run groups
A run group is a collection of runs for a particular model group. Each run contains a number of simulations.
Creating a run group
Before you can set up a series of simulations you must create a new run group. Right-click the model group in either the Explorer window or the Model Group window and select New | Run Group from the context menu.
Creating a run
You can add a new run to the run group by right-clicking the run group and selecting New | Run from the context menu.
Opening a run group
When you open a run group, a grid is displayed containing a list of the simulations carried out for the run group, with their results.
To open a run group:
- In the Explorer window or the Model Group window, right-click the run group.
- Select Open from the context menu. This displays the Results Management view.
You may have several run groups open at a time.
Closing a run group
To close a run group, click the Close button on the Results Management view.
Projection and incident run groups
Projection run group and incident run group objects are created by IWLive Pro.
The projection run group contains projection runs and simulations that have been scheduled using a baseline object.
The incident run group contains incident and response runs and simulations that have been created from the IWLive Operator program.
