Scenarios

The Scenarios feature is now available, which will allow you to model variations of a network simultaneously without the need to create separate branched networks. This is a very useful tool if used to investigate the impact of various parameters (pipe size, pipe material, for example) on simulations.

As an example, a new housing estate is planned in the south-east of an existing town. A feasibility study is to be carried out to assess options for connecting the new estate to the existing water mains network. The base network is the network in its current state and each planning option is added as a scenario.
