Importing Manhole Survey Data
Manhole survey data can be imported from the following formats:
Once the manhole survey data has been imported, it can be used to generate or update nodes and pipes in the network. See Updating the Network from Manhole Survey Data for further information.
Manhole survey data can be imported from STC25 (STC26) data files.
To import STC25/26 data:
- Open an existing network.
- Select the Import | Import Manhole survey data | Import STC25 manhole survey data option from theNetwork menu. The STC Importdialog will be displayed.

Manhole survey data can be imported from NASSCO MACP data files.
When importing MACP data files, the MACP Manhole coding standard should be selected for the database. If your database is set up for a different manhole survey data standard, a warning will be displayed before import occurs.
If a text value is imported to a choice list field, which has no corresponding choice list record, (because the wrong standard is selected or the choice lists have been edited), the full text will appear in the Manhole Survey Grid instead of a choice list code.
To import MACP data:
- Open an existing network.
- Select the Import | Import Manhole survey data | Import MACP manhole survey data option from the Network menu. The MACP Import Dialog will be displayed.
