Managing scheduler categories
Only System Administrators and Administrators can manage categories.

Or:
- Select the Notes | Edit categories option on the context menu of the Scheduler.
- On the Scheduler Categories dialog, click the (Add) button.
- Edit the name if desired.
- If required, change the default colour by clicking on the adjacent coloured box. This displays a standard Windows colour palette where a different colour can be selected.
The checkbox adjacent to the new category is ticked by default, indicating that this category will be available for selection when new notes are added or existing notes are modified.
- To save the changes, click OK on the Scheduler Categories dialog .
- If requested to do so, publish the application.
A new category with a default name is added to the Notes categories.
Note: It is not possible to create new Reports categories.
- Click the category to edit on the list of categories and edit its name (Notes categories only)
- Click on the coloured box adjacent to the category to be edited. This displays a standard Windows colour palette where a different colour can be selected (applies to both Reports and Notes categories).
- Untick the check box in front of the category to be made obsolete (Notes categories only).
Note: Reports categories cannot be obsoleted. (Checkboxes are ticked by default and this cannot be changed.)
- To commit the changes and close the dialog, click the OK button.
The category will no longer be available for selection when notes are created or modified.
- Select the category by clicking on it on the list.
Note: It is not possible to delete Reports categories.
- To delete the category, click the (Delete) button.
- Do one of the following:
- To delete the category, click Yes. The category is removed from the category list. Then, to commit your changes, click OK in the Scheduler Categories dialog. Alternatively, click Cancel to discard your changes. If OK has been selected, any note of that category will be deleted from the Scheduler.
- To abort, click No. The selected category is not deleted and the focus is back on the Scheduler Categories dialog.
A warning message is displayed, requiring confirmation.
