Completing reports

Reports should be saved if further work is required to finish the survey, test, maintenance work, etc. and only completed when you have finished collecting all data.

To complete a report:

  1. Fill in all the required and mandatory fields. Mandatory fields are marked with a .

    Tip: Required fields are system fields. These are mainly ID fields. Their Mandatory property (see Property Boxis set to Mandatory by default and cannot be changed. Mandatory fields also have their Mandatory property set to Mandatory, but manually by the user, and it can be changed to another value. Mandatory fields only need to be filled in at completion time.

  2. Click the Complete button.

    An Unable to Save dialog is displayed if a mandatory field has not been filled in.

  3. Click on OK on the dialog and fill in the relevant field.
  4. Save again.
  5. Click OK to continue completing the report or Cancel to amend the field value and complete again.

    A warning message will be displayed if the user is attempting to complete a scheduled report at a date /time for which a restricted scheduler note already exists. ClosedShow image

  6. Completing a report places it in the Completed tab of the Report View.

    Completed reports may still be edited.
