Auto Labels
Auto labels are simple read only labels that can be shown or hidden for all objects of the same type, (they cannot be displayed for a selection of objects only).
Auto labels can be used to display:
- Network object identifier and / or the value of the parameter displayed in the current active theme for the object. The display may become a bit confused if both ID and theme value are displayed, as these are printed next to each other on the same line. Improve the display by zooming in on an area of interest.
- User defined text and values of selected parameters, set by selecting the Auto label User option in the Label Field group of the Auto Labels and Tooltips page of the GeoPlan Properties.
- Link End Labels: labels drawn at link ends displaying the upstream and downstream values of a selected parameter. Link End Labels are always displayed rotated along the line of the link.
Auto label operations
Most operations with auto labels are controlled by the Layers and Themes page and the Auto Labels and Tooltips page of the GeoPlan Properties dialog.
