About control profiles

A control profile object is a time varying profile that is not directly associated with a network object.

Control profile objects can be used when defining user programmable controls of network objects by the use of UPC scripts.

Control profile data can be viewed and edited in the Control Profile Grid view of the Control grid or the Control Profile property sheet. See Control Profile data fields for further information.

Profiles can be entered manually or loaded from live data files.

A control profile of type Number is a unitless profile and can be updated by any type of live data. If a control profile of type Number is updated from live data of channel type DUAL, the profile will be updated form the flow component of the live data.
