Control grid window
Control data can be opened as a grid view, which displays only the network objects that have control data associated with them. This grid gives a quick way of finding control objects, and allows you to view their important parameters easily.
Displaying the grid view
The control data grid view can be displayed with the network open, or independently of a network. If the control data is associated with a network, the grid displays details only of control data objects that are associated with a network object. When opened independently, the grid shows all control data objects.
To display a control grid view with a network open:
- With control data associated with a network, choose Window | Grid windows | New control window. This displays the Control Data grid view.
To display an independent summary:
- Right-click the control data in the Model Group window or Explorer window.
- Choose Open Grid from the context menu. If there is no network open, the Open command will also work. This displays the Control Data grid view.
Summary operations
A number of options are available from a context menu when you have opened a summary report for control data associated with a network. Right-click any of the rows in any grid to display the menu.
The options are:
- Select and find in GeoPlan - Selects the object in the GeoPlan and zooms to it.
- PST operation (pumps only) - This displays a summary of the pumping station operating characteristics on the Pumping Station Operation dialog.
- Valve operation (valves only) - This displays a summary of the valve operating characteristics on the Valve Operation dialog.
- Properties - Opens the property sheet for the network object and associated control data.
