Import UPC Object to Control Data dialog

This dialog is used when importing a UPC scenario into a control data object. The UPC scenario controls are converted into UPC script.

The dialog is displayed when a UPC scenario is dragged from the Model Group window or the Explorer window to a network with associated control.

Option

Description

Regulator with no Network Object

Select an option for the action to be carried out if the UPC scenario contains controls for an object that does not exist in the current network:

Option	Description
Add to global script	Script is added to the Global UPC Script in the Global UPC Script view .
Discard	The UPC scenario controls for the object are not imported.

Regulator with no Control Object

Select an option for the action to be carried out if the UPC scenario contains controls for a regulator that does not have Control Data in the current control:

Option	Description
Create control object	Control is added to the network object and the UPC scenario controls are converted and imported into the local UPC script on the UPC Script page
Add to global script	The UPC scenario controls are converted and added to the Global UPC Script in the Global UPC Script view

Replace Current Scripts

Select an option to be used when importing scripts into control data with existing UPC scripts.

Global Scripts

Option	Description
Replace	Replace current scripts in Global UPC Script view.
Append	Append scripts to current scripts in Global UPC Script view.

Local Scripts

Option	Description
Replace all	Replace any current local UPC scripts.
Append all	Always append scripts to current local UPC scripts.
Retain all	Do not make any changes to current local UPC scripts. (Control data of objects that do not have a current local UPC script will be updated with the imported script.)
Prompt each time	Displays the Import UPC Object to Control Data dialog, allowing current and generated scripts to be viewed before selecting whether to replace, append or retain current scripts. (A prompt will not be displayed for objects that do not have a current local UPC script.)
