Updating control data from a UPC scenario
A UPC scenario can be used to define logical controls that are used to control the status of pumps and valves.
Logical controls can also be defined by the use of UPC scripts that are stored in the control data.
An existing UPC scenario can be imported into a control data object. The UPC scenario rules are converted into UPC scripts.
To import a UPC scenario into a control data object:
- Open a network and a checked out control data object.
- Drag the UPC scenario from the Model Group window or Explorer window into the GeoPlan window. The Import UPC Scenario to Control Data dialog will be displayed.
- Select options as required from the dialog. Press F1 for help.
- Click OK to proceed with the import.
The imported scripts can be viewed in the control data on the UPC script page of the Pump Station property sheet or valve property sheet and in the Global UPC Script view.
