Graphing data for a network object

To display a graph of time varying data for a single network object:

  1. Make sure the simulation is open, and the GeoPlan window is the current active window.
  2. Click the (Graph) tool on the Tools toolbar.

The mouse pointer will change to the graph tool pointer.

  3. On the GeoPlan, click the network object for which you want to create a graph.

If more than one network object is under the pointer, a dialog will be displayed allowing you to choose the required network object.

The Select What To Graph dialog will be displayed, offering you a choice of time varying data to graph. The listed data will be appropriate to the type of network object selected.

  4. Select the time varying data (one or more items from the list) that you want to graph.
  5. If you want to add a live data trace to the graph:
    1. Drop a live data configuration into the Live Data Configuration box. This box will already be filled if live data is associated with the simulation in the current active window.
    2. Check the Add Live Data box. This box will be unavailable if no valid live data is linked to the network object for which you are creating a graph.
  6. To display the Graph view, click OK.
