Displaying summary report graphs
Summary report graphs can be displayed for one or more simulations:
- The flow summary report displays graphs of total flows in the system, including total demand, consumption, leakage, and transfers.
- The system summary report displays graphs summarising the system demand balance.
- The Sustainability (CO2) report displays graphs summarising the sustainability analysis results for the system.
See Report details, below, for details of these reports.
To display a summary report graph for a simulation:
- Select Results | Graph reports | Flow
& system summary report.
This displays the Summary Report Graphs dialog.
If a simulation is open, the name will be added automatically.
- If necessary, add a simulation name.
You can add multiple simulations.
- Choose the required graph type.
- To display the Graph view, click Produce Graph.

Flow summary report
The graphs displayed in the flow summary report are as follows:
Graph | Description |
---|---|
Total Demand |
Total demand from the model. This is the sum of Consumption, Transfer Out, Exceptional Demand, Leakage and Hydrant Flow. |
Consumption |
Total consumption. The total demand* defined at nodes in the node demand grid on the Node Demand Page.
*Demand profiles with the leakage option unchecked in the Demand Diagram Editor. |
Transfer In |
Total flow into the system via Transfer Nodes (Flow Factor = 1) |
Transfer Out |
Total flow out of the system via Transfer Nodes (Flow Factor = -1) |
Exceptional Demand |
Total demand at nodes defined as exceptional flow on the Exceptional Flow Profile Page |
Leakage |
Total losses from the system due to leakage. This is made up of the total leakage* defined at nodes in the node demand grid and the Leakage Loss, both defined on the Node Demand Page.
*Demand profiles with the leakage option checked in the Demand Diagram Editor. |
System summary report
The graphs displayed in the system summary report are as follows:
Graph | Description |
---|---|
Storage |
The total storage in the model (total volume in Reservoirs) |
Total Demand |
Total demand from the model. This is the sum of Consumption, Transfers Out, Exceptional Demand, Leakage and Hydrant Flow. |
Sources |
The total flow through pumping stations that have system role set to SOURCE. This parameter is set on the Pump Control Page of the Pump Station Property Sheet or the Pumping Station Grid View of the Links Grid. |
Boost |
The total flow through pumping stations that have system role set to BOOSTER. This parameter is set on the Pump Control Page of the Pump Station Property Sheet or the Pumping Station Grid View of the Links Grid. |
PST Energy |
The total energy used (at Pumping Stations) |
Cost |
The Cost of the total energy used |
PST CO2 Equivalent |
Total energy used at Pumping Stations expressed as a carbon dioxide equivalent (only graphed when carrying out Sustainability Analysis) |
