What's new in InfoWorks WS Pro version 2023.0

This topic lists the additions and improvements incorporated in InfoWorks® WS Pro Version 2023.0 which were not available in previous versions.

Please note that this new version also includes various enhancements and bug fixes that are not described in detail here.

Autodesk Licence for InfoWorks WS Pro

You can now use an Autodesk licence to run InfoWorks WS Pro. This allows you access to the modelling capabilities of InfoWorks WS Pro, although there are some minor restrictions. See the Autodesk Licence topic for further information.

When you start InfoWorks WS Pro for first time, an Autodesk Sign in window will be displayed. This enables your licence to be verified so that you can use InfoWorks WS Pro. See the Getting Started topic for further information.

Desktop analytics in the Help menu

Added the Desktop analytics option in the Help menu, which opens the Data collection and use dialog. This option allows you to participate in improving the customer experience in the product. With the I want to participate box checked, it is indicating that you consent to Innovyze collecting data about how you use InfoWorks WS Pro. The data collected will be used to help improve the product's features, performance, and quality.

Older versions of transportable databases and guest databases may be opened as read-only

You now have the option to open older versions of a transportable database and guest (other) master databases as read-only when opening your transportable database.

Select a scenario when running a Critical Link Analysis

When running a Critical Link Analysis, you can now select one scenario in the Schedule Hydraulic Run dialog to use in the simulation. This further enhances results comparison for automated testing and reporting of the effects of failure for a selection of links. Running multiple scenarios is not supported at this time.

Log results window is improved to group information better

The Log results view is rearranged in a user-friendly fashion – the name of the job, time of the job, run details, engine logs, and other pertinent information about the run are grouped in a logical way for you to easily understand. When multiple scenarios are used in the run, the information are segregated per scenario.
