What's New in Version 18.5 - November 2017
This topic lists all the additions and improvements incorporated in InfoAsset Manager 18.5 which were not available in previous versions.
New Description fields for TSDB
A new Description field has been added to the Observed and Forecast pages in a TSDB. This field can be used to provide TSDB-related information that may be useful to your organisation, such as how and why the data streams have been set up.
See Time Series Database for more information.
New options for editing TSDB user edits
When editing User Edits on a Time Series Data Grid, the following options are now available from a context menu, which is displayed when you right-click on one or more selected User Value cells:
- Set new value(s) for cell(s), which displays the New Cell Value dialog, enabling you to type a new value for the selected cell(s).
- Adjust current value(s) for cell(s), which displays the Adjust Cell(s) Value dialog, allowing you to enter the values by which the selected cells are to be amended.
- Insert timestep, which inserts a new timestep after the cell from which you selected this option.
- Insert multiple timesteps, which displays the Add Multiple Timesteps (after) dialog, enabling you to specify the number of new timsteps that are to be added after the cell from which you selected this option.
For further information about editing user edits, see the Editing Time Series Data topic.
Integration with ICM spatial time series databases
The ICM spatial Time Series Database (TSDB) provides access to spatial time series data streams. New functionality within InfoNet Executive Suite allows users to connect directly to a spatial TSDB within the InfoNet database, associate data feeds to specific assets and review the time series data graphically and in grid form.
See the Spatial Time Series Database topic for more information.
MSCC5 XML file data import/export
Manhole survey and inspection chamber information can now be imported from MSCC5 XML files to InfoNet. This information can also be exported from InfoNet to MSCC5 XML files.
A new Chamber unit length parameter has been added to nodes and manhole survey properties, and the checkbox Export CCTV defect images has been renamed to Export defect images in the Survey Export Options dialog.
Displayed link between incident and asset
A new line type displays the link between an incident and the asset or assets that it has been raised against. This feature is enabled on the Visual page of the GeoPlan Properties and Themes dialog.
Alternative units for flow
Four new display units - mega litres per day (Ml/day), mega litres per hour (Ml/hour), cubic meters per day (m3/day) and cubic meters per hour (m3/hour) - have been added for flow. See the Units key topic for further information about these units and the Changing the Display Units topic for information about how to specify one of them as the display unit.
Resizable SQL dialog
The SQL dialog is now resizable, and the edit area for the expression now expands with the dialog. This does not apply to TVD connector and theme expressions, for which the SQL area remains fixed size.
Deletion of unused attachments from the Working folder
Unused attachment files in the working folder are now deleted when the clean unused files feature is used.
Language agnostic configuration files for ODIC/ODEC
Configuration files for the ODIC and ODEC can now be used regardless of which language they were created in.
