File Menu
This menu governs general functions with regard to database selection, asset groups, and printing. The following options are available:

Open |
Contains menu items for opening / creating a workgroup or standalone database, a transportable database or a guest database. |
Recent databases |
Allows selection of a database from a list of the last ten databases previously opened. When a database is selected from the list the Local Folders will also be changed to the Local Folders associated with the selected database. More... |
Database management |
Contains menu items for opening a workgroup or standalone database, transportable database or guest database. |
Database update |
Contains menu items for updating databases and transportable databases from previous versions of InfoAsset Manager to the current or selected version. |
Save |
Saves changes to the data that is currently being edited. Most data in InfoAsset Manager is saved automatically so this option is not often available. More... |
Print layout |
Displays the Print Layout View. The most recently used Print Layout will be opened when the view is displayed. More... |
Print… |
Prints the currently active window using the classic printing method. There are a number of special options available when printing the GeoPlan Window that allow customisation of the printed output. See Printing from the GeoPlan for more details. More... |
Displays a preview of what will be printed when the print command is used. Click Close to close the preview. The current item will remain open. More... |

Print setup |
Enables changes to be made to the printer setup, including which printer to use, paper size and orientation. More... |
Page setup |
Enables changes to be made to the page setup for the classic method of printing, including margins and title block options. Choosing this menu item displays a Page Setup dialog. The options on the dialog will vary depending on the type of view that is currently open. More... |
Exit |
Closes the InfoAsset Manager application. More... |
